I am back :)

I guess some of you are wondering why was I away for so long and maybe you even assumed that I was done with blogging. The truth is,I was dealing with some personal problems so I didn’t really want to blog.  My family rented a gorgeous flat in a villa for few days so that we could rest a bit and recharge our batteries.

The place we visited is called Opatija and it is located in the western Croatia (three hour drive from where we live). It is a small coastal town that was founded before the 15th century and first mention in 1453 as a settlement of around 30 homes and a church (The Benedictine Abbey of St. Jacob). The town and the surrounding area was built in its etirety under the Austro-Hungarian empire. They built villas, hotels and most importantly a beautiful 12 km promenade called Lungomare. Not to bother you with  any more history haha, I will show you some of the photos I took during our stay there.

This is the garden in front of the villa. We had a private exit to the promenade and the beach (it was amazing!) :

I hope you enjoyed these photos and I hope that you don’t take it against me that I haven’t really read your blogs because I plan to compensate for it by reading them all at once 😀

Stay happy 🙂

  1. Please, please, please make yourself the top priority, take some time out and take LOTS of care of yourself. Do anything and everything that makes you feel good or happy, even if it’s as simple as watching a specific TV show or watching funny, random youtube videos. I HATE that you’ve had to go through so much lately. I know this is weird to say, and I hope you get what I mean when I say, I’m glad you found out – you know what you deserve and since this isn’t it I’m glad you can walk away from it knowing you didn’t lose anything but someone who wronged you. While they lost someone who was amazing to them. I will never understand how someone could do that to someone else. I can’t imagine how hard this past little bit has been with you between your health and exams and this. I’m glad you were able to postpone the other ones and have a little getaway, now just rest up!! The views are absolutely incredible! I took a little blogging break too so I just came to your page (and just in time for a new post too 🙂 hehe)

    1. Thank you so much for your support 🙂
I’ve been doing things that I like; I’ve watched some of my favourite shows, read some books and I even did something useful (I helped my dad repaint our house).
I know what you mean and I too think that it is a good thing that I found out.
I am just angry with myself (and some of my “friends” who knew but did not tell me) that I haven’t found out sooner ( And I did have a feeling in my gut that something was off. I couldn’t really tell what it is,but I knew something wasn’t feeling right).
At least I know now who I can trust and I am out of that toxic relationship. It feels weird after all these years but somehow I feel peaceful.
Anyway, congrats about the article you got to write 🙂 It is a big deal and I know you will do amazing!
      Again,thanks for the support 🙂
